Welcome in the website of NIMO*, a near infrared tissue oximeter developed and commercialized by NIROX s.r.l..

NIMO allows real-time and non-invasive measurements of the oxygenation of tissues, using a Near Infrared Spectroscopy approach.

More specifically, Nimo is a continuous wave near infrared (CW-NIRS) tissue oximeter which is based on a laser diode optical source; it can measure the absolute concentrations of oxyhemoglobin (HbO2), deoxyhemoglobin (HHb), total hemoglobin (tHb) and a tissue oxygenation index (TOI or StO2).

Nimo has recently obtained the CE marking for medical devices, according to the requirements of the CE-EN 60601 standard.
